Sensors Expo and Conference 2018

June 26, 2018 - June 28, 2018

Scott Smyser, our VP of W/W Marketing & Business Development, will be speaking at the 2018 Sensors Expo & Conference. The theme of his talk will be “Ubiquitous Spectral Sensing – MEMS Spectral Sensors” and will focus on material analysis and its uses across a wide spectrum of industries. Traditionally material analysis has been done in a lab with bench top spectrometers. Si-Ware Systems has developed unique and proprietary technology to put discrete optical benches on silicon die and has developed an MEMS FT-IR spectral sensor that is dramatically smaller and lower cost.  Spectral sensors are enabling new applications for material analysis that can occur in the field, inline, and in consumer electronics environments.

Sensors Expo & Conference is the largest gathering of engineers and engineering professionals involved in sensors and sensing-related technologies. For over 30 years, more than 6,400 professionals gather from across the nation and 40+ countries to explore today’s sensor technologies and find the solutions to tomorrow’s sensing challenges. The 2018 event will host 300+ exhibitors on the Expo Floor, leading experts from the industry in the most comprehensive sensor-focused Conference Program, and unparalleled Event Features and Networking Opportunities.
